Chulmleigh Fair Stall
Thanks to Jane Archer and Frances Auty who advertised CTC and sold Doggy Balls at the Cricket Ground. Andy Fitch guessed the winning number of balls in the sack.

Chulmleigh Fair Tournament
A very hot day, about a dozen students from 5- 16 played on through the heat!
Winner of Girls Cup: Anna Wilson; Boys Cup: Will Hamill. Both ex-CTC members.

Leagues
Well done to all our teams who have represented CTC this year. The Ladies came 3rd in Div 4, with several new members playing for the team.

The 2014 season was one of relative success for Chumleigh’s men. The A team won 5, lost 6 and drew 1 in a closely fought league. So close that they needed to win their last game to avoid the relegation play off, which they did, 18-6 eventually finishing 5th.
The B team won 10 drew 1 and lost 1 finishing top of division 5, so gain automatic promotion, while the C team finished a creditable 4th in the same division having won 5 drew 1 and lost 8.

This year nearly all of the male members represented a club team at some point. This made the captain’s job or fielding teams a little easier than usual and says a lot about the team spirit being generated within the club. Hopefully we can keep this momentum going, and our performances in the leagues next season can continue to exceed
expectations. Well-done chaps.

CTC Doubles Ladder
After a successful summer season of Tennis at CTC, with the league teams’ successes and the enthusiasm shown for this year’s tournament, the committee would like to offer members some more competition to encourage you to get the pumps on and play some tennis. The club would like to invite you to participate in a doubles ladder competition that will run throughout the winter and into next season.

Full details will be on hand at the finals days, where we hope many will sign up. For those unable to attend on the final Sundays, Andy will be sending out more information soon.
